A Hunger Like No Other - Kresley Cole Okay, I admit it. I don't know how many years this book has been waiting for me to read it but the truth is that I stupidly thought this series was going to be awfully confusing because it features a lot of different species. Finally I decided to read it and see for myself if it was confusing or not. I had recently read the introduction to this series which is titled [b:The Warlord Wants Forever|6388558|The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1)|Kresley Cole|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1351280086s/6388558.jpg|6576853] and tough I liked it I thought it was pretty overwhelming with all the details. That book is not a subtle introduction to the world of Immortals After Dark. But it did show me that the series was worth a shot. For a first book in a series,A Hunger Like no Other is amazing. Lachlain and Emmaline are a wonderful couple and their romance was brilliant. Challenging and very entertaining. The plot-line is also very entertaining and I have to say, the author surprised me with that twist in the end. I wasn't expecting that episode - Emma versus Demestriu. The fact that the book [b:The Warlord Wants Forever|6388558|The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1)|Kresley Cole|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1351280086s/6388558.jpg|6576853] and [b:A Hunger Like No Other|14384|A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2)|Kresley Cole|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1357616154s/14384.jpg|16422] are happening at the same time only makes it more funny and more dynamic. Kresley Cole's writing is witty and funny and I really had a good time reading this book. Although I have yet to understand some important things about this world I honestly can say that I'll read more of this series in the meantime. I think I've found another guilty pleasure. *squeeee*
